Ara: RJD MLA from Barhara assembly constituency in Bhojpur district Saroj Yadav was threatened with dire consequence at about 8pm on Tuesday. Saroj Yadav said that he received a call from mobile no. 9608525758 seven times in the evening on Tuesday from 8pm to 8.20 pm and every time the caller said that he would kill him (MLA).
The MLA complained to Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh and demanded security for him. The MLA said on mobile that he had gone to Patna to inform RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad about the alleged irregularities in the organizational meeting of the party in Bhojpur district when the miscreant called him. The MLA said that the caller said that he was nephew of a minister in Nitish government and would kill him at any cost. Saroj Yadav lodged an FIR with Rajiv Nagar Police Station, Patna, on Wednesday. Bhojpur SP said that the police took out CDR of the mobile and is looking into the matter and hoped the miscreants would be arrested at the earliest. The MLA also met RJD supremo Lalu Prasad who assured him all help and security. Lalu also assured the MLA that the miscreant would be arrested and stern action would also be taken against him.

He also had conflict with villagers of his assembly constituency over his remark on caste line.
