Bokaro  ( Jharkhand) : In a move to stop open defecation and encourage families to have to toilets at  their houses, which will not only check pollution but also protect females from criminals at isolated spots, Bokaro Deputy commissioner (DC) R M Ray on August 12, 2017, invited elected representatives including Mukhiya, ward councillors and even media people to see Akshay Kumar starrer `Toilet ek Prem Katha’ along with him at PVR multimedia at Bokaro steel city.

The movie, which strongly advocates construction of toilets at every house, has been praised by even PM Narendra Modi. It was shown to all public representatives by district administration and later the deputy commissioner asked everyone to cooperate  in stopping open defecation and encourage those who do not have toilets at their houses to take administration’s help in getting one.
