Bokaro DC asks officials to solve problems facing villagers

Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Bokaro Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mritunjay Kumar Burnawal  along with his junior officers on February 21, 2018, held ‘Janata Durbar’ at Jaridih block office in Bokaro district  where he heard  grievances of  more than 500 villagers of the maoist infested block and tried to sort out  their problems and directed his subordinates to solve them within fix timeframe.

At the Janata Durbar, the most common complaints were non-availability of doctors & medical staff along with medicine at the health  centers, non-inclusion of hundreds  of villagers in the BPL list, lack of roads and check dams. The villagers pleaded for early delivery of  caste, domicile and other certificates to unemployed youth.

Addressing the villagers at the Janata Durbar, the DC assured the villagers to solve their problems at the earliest and asked all his  junior colleagues to hold special camps for delivery of documents demanded by the villagers for which even phone numbers of officers were announced.

Besides the Bokaro DC, SP S Kartik, SDO Chas Satish Chandra, SDO Bermo Prem Ranjan, additional collector Jugnu Minj, PRO Vikas Hembrom and others were present at the Janata Durbar.

Bokaro DC M K Burnawal informed that he has asked the villagers to directly get in touch with him or his officers if  their grievances are not redressed at the earliest.“ I have even asked CO, BDO and other officers including civil surgeon to solve the problems of villagers  on time,” stated the DC.
