Ara : Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar suspended the Station House Officer (SHO), Krishnagarh police station, Ram Vilas, on September 9, 2017, with immediate effect for allegedly threatening a person with dire consequences on mobile phone.
Two groups had clashed at village Sohara in Bhojpur district and an FIR was lodged with Krishnagarh police station in this connection. The Mukhia Guptehswar Sah and his son Manji Sah tried to pacify both the both groups and failed. Manji Sah said that a false FIR was lodged as no such incident had occurred in the area.
It is learnt that SHO, Krishnagarh police station, Ram Vilas had called Manji Sah on mobile on September 6, 2017, abusing and threatening him with dire consequences and also charged that he had threatened Chowkidar Supan Yadav. The SHO had allegedly also threatened to implicate him in false cases and thrashed him at his residence and also shooed him out of the village. In the meantime, the audio of the conversation viral in the social media. After hearing the audio, the SP immediately suspended the SHO and said that unparliamentary language used by the official can’t be tolerated. He ordered the SDPO to inquire into the matter so that departmental proceeding could be started against the SHO.
