Sitamarhi: Barring a few incidents of vandalism at railway stations and stone pelting at Gaushala Chowk, the Bharat Bandh passed off peacefully in Sitamarhi district on April 2, 2018. Around a dozen bandh supporters were detained. Sitamarhi SP Hari Prasath S led a peace march from Gaushala Chowk.

The Bandh was total in Sitamarhi town. Vehicles remained off the road. Shops and bussiness establishment also remained close. Daily passengers and examinees faced a lot of problems due to the bandh.
