Assaulted by in-laws of elder sister, girl dies at Buxar Sadar Hospital

Buxar : Seema, daughter of Surendra Kushwaha of village Chachari Dera under Itardhi police station in Buxar district who was assaulted by the in-laws of her elder sister Meena, on November 11, 2017, succumbed to her injuries at Buxar Sadar Hospital on November 14. Their brother Rajiv is still struggling for life at the hospital.
Meena, daughter of Surendra Kushwaha, was married to Mangaru Kushwaha of village Majhawari under Simari police station in Buxar district two months ago. But, Meena and her  husband quarrelled almost everyday and when the situation became unbearable Meena informed her younger sister Seema about it.  Seema along with her brother Rajiv reached the in- law’s house of her elder sister on November 11 and tried to resolve the issues between the two.

Annoyed at their intervention, Meena’s husband and her in- laws thrashed  Seema and Rajiv with traditional weapons inflicting serious injuries to them. The villagers admitted them to Primary Health Centre (PHC) but the doctors referred them to Buxar Sadar Hospital where Seem succumbed to her injuries on November 14 while Rajiv is still struggling for.
