Ara: Sub-Judge I, Ara, Rakesh Kumar on Wednesday declared two Sub-Inspectors: Pramod Kumar and Arun Khalko absconders and also issued permanent warrant against them in connection with burglary and beating of persons after intruding into a house.
Tej Narain Singh of village Udaymanpur under Krishnagarha police stationunder Barahara block in Bhojpur district had filed a complaint case in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate in 1999 against five police personnel including e Sub-Inspector Pramod Kumar alleging that these police personnel entered his house and looted property and also beat him up and injured him.
After verification, the court issued summons to these police personnel asking them to appear personally before the court and when they did not appear, the court issued non-bailable warrant of arrest against them. After that three police personnel appeared in the court and were granted bail but Pramod Kumar and Arun Khalko did not appear before the court. At this the court issued warrant of attachment of property on October 30, 2015, but both the officials again did not appear before the court. Taking serious note on the non compliance with its orders, the court declared them absconders.
