Bokaro (Jharkhand) : An alert has been sounded by on the eve of Republic Day to tackle any untoward incident including the maoists front whose movements in small groups have been observed by the security forces at Uparghat, Nawadih, Gomia, Vishnugarh border area and Parasnath areas in Jharkhand.
IG, North Chotanagpur, M L Meena, said that he has asked SPs of Bokaro, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Giridih, Koderma and Chatra to intensify patrolling under their respective jurisdiction to tackle any movement of the naxalites who in recent days have received big beating in their zones and might try to make their presence felt by making desperate attacks to disturb peace and vitiate the peaceful atmosphere .
