Akilpur PS brought under administrative control of Saran dist

Patna : Bihar government on October 3, 2017, brought Akilpur police station (PS) under Danapur Sub- division in Patna district under the administrative control of Saran district since Akilpur panchayat falls under Dighwara block of Saran. The state Home ( Police) Department issued a notification to this effect on October 3 itself.

So far law and order and education related works of Akilpur panchayat were under control of Danapur Sub-division in Patna district but other administrative matters including revenue matters were under administrative control of Saran district. Now, both law & order and revenue matters of Akilpur panchayat have been brought under administrative control of Saran district. Akilpur police station falls in Akilpur Panchayat under Dighwara block in Saran district.
