Ara: Some unidentified miscreants shot dead a youth late Sunday evening and escaped at Piro under the same police station in Bhojpur district. Later, the police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO Piro police station said some unidentified criminals covering their heads, shot dead one Upendra Rai, a mason, when he was sitting at the gate of his house near Piro Bus stand under Piro police station late Sunday evening.He was a resident of Sheohar district and was living in Piro for the last six months.
In another incident, an unidentified women committed suicide by throwing herself before a running train near Koelwar railway station on Sunday evening. Later, the police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
In another incident, Parmanand Chaudhary, 40, fell from a tree at village Ekwari under Sahar police station and died on the spot while taking palm wine. Later, the police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
