Bokaro ( Jharkhand): The students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Chas city in Bokaro district were blessed to have internationally acclaimed Violin maestro Ustad Johar Ali Khan accompanied by Tabla player Ujjal Roy on their school campus on January 31, 2018, evening.The maestro had come under Spic Macay programme. The Jugalbandi by Ustad Johar ( Violin) and Ujjal Roy kept the gathering spellbound.

The schoolchildren enjoyed every second of the session of the musical evening clapping all the way to show their appreciation. To make the programme even more interesting, Johar Ali Khan even  played folk tunes of various states of the country and asked the students to guess the name of the state where the folk music was very popular.

Ustad Johar Ali Khan’s specialization is the way he lets his violin speak to the target audience and captivates them. The students could understand the nuances of classical form of music and were seen clapping repeatedly.
