Massive IT Survey on premises of 7 big coal dealers of Dhanbad

Dhanbad ( Jharkhand) : In a joint operation of Income-Tax sleuths from Bihar and Jharkhand divided into 23 teams comprising 6 personnel each along with district cops started IT Survey on 23 premises of 7 big coal traders of  Dhanbad zone on February 20, 2018, morning. The Survey is still on,

The IT survey are being carried on the premises of Messer Modern Fuels, Ganpati Fuels, Sharma Beehive, South Bihar coke Ltd, Khatwat  Industries, Prabhu Hard Coke and Shiv Shambhu Ltd located under Govindpur block in Dhanbad district, about 14 km away from Dhanbad city.

IT sources informed that these traders had deposited several crores of old denomination notes  in  November—December 2016 without giving any source from where did they get the big cash. That apart, the traders have even shown very less income in their annual financial accounts including stock accounts while their bank transactions are giving completely different figures for last past several years.

Sources added that though final report  of the survey was to arrived but the IT sleuths  agreed that they have seized several indiscriminating documents indicating that the trdares  have made huge investment in immovable properties in cosmopolitans and even in small cities of Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand , Uttar Pradesh,  Chattisgarh and Odisha.

Chief income tax commissioner K C Ghumaria said that the IT survey was in progress but refused to reveal to the seizure from different premises.
