Saharsa : Nine persons including two women were injured when a tractor carrying them fell into a water filled ditch at village Situaha under Salkhua police station in Saharsa district on September 11, 2017. All the injured persons were admitted to Primary Health Centre (PHC), Salkhua, where the doctors referred six of them to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa. All the injured belong to village Uteshra and were enroute Koparia railway station to bring fodder for their cattle. Police soon reached the spot and taking necessary action.
Girl Drowns to Death: A three year old girl Rupam Kumari, daughter of Raja Bind, drowned to death in river Kosi at village Agar undr Kath Dumar panchayat in Saharsa district while playing on the bank of the river on September 11. The local Circle Officer and police were informed about the incident.
