Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Five  students of Delhi Public School  Bokaro cleared the 7th International English Olympiad (IEO) 2016 -17 conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), New Delhi. The results were declared on March 21.

Ruhi of Class 2 and Niharika Mania of Class 4 emerged as the International Gold Medalists by securing the International Rank 1 while Anamika of Class 6 and Amartya Utkarsh of Class 12 clinched the Zonal Gold Medals by achieving Rank 1 followed by Rank 2 achiever Rajesh Krishna Behera of Class 2. The winning students will receive Cash prizes ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 along with merit certificates.

Hemlata S. Mohan, Director and Principal of DPS Bokaro in Jharkhand state, congratulated all the rank holders from the school and asked them to continue the hard work insisting  that language is one of the most important, effective and influential medium of communication for all purposes.
