Bagaha : Bar Association, Bagaha, on March 21, 2017, strongly opposed the state government decision to hold trial of excise and SC/ST prevention of atrocity cases at Bettiah, headquarters of West Champaran district, and cases related to electricity at Muzaffarpur at a special court set up for the purpose. The trial of all such cases were being held before the courts of Additional district judges (ADJ) at Bagaha since 2005.
Bar Association, Bagaha, under the chairmanship of its president Indubhuasn Pandey on March 21 unanimously passed a resolution urging CM Nitish Kumar to revoke the decision immediately so that litigants are not harassed. One Pramod Kumar Singh of Valmikinagar said that the people should get justice without delay.
