33,533 neo literates to appear at exam on Mar 18

Sasaram : Under the Sakshar Bharat Mission and Chief Minister Akshar Aanchal Scheme, an examination will be organized in all the 246 panchayats of 19 blocks in Rohtas district on March 18, 2018, for all the neoliterate women and men in the age groups of 15- 35 and 15 – 60 years. The examination will be held at Lok Shikshan cum Satyagrah Kendras at all the 246 panchayats.

Jan Shiksha Director, Vinodanand Jha, issued a letter to the Education Department, Rohtas, asking the District Education Officer (DEO) to launch an awareness campaign to bring the neo literate persons, who have completed basic litercy training, to the examination centres on March 18. Altogether 33,533 neo literate women and men will take the examination and will also be given certificates of Class III pass.
