Sasaram : Dr Ramjan Ahmad died in an incident of fire while sleeping at his private clinic at Gogari Bazaar under Karakat Panchayat in Rohtas district around midnight on February 13, 2018. The villagers found his clinic completely gutted on February 14, 2018, morning, and informed police.
Police brought the body to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. He lived in Chik locality under Sasaram Town police station and ran his clinic at Gogari Bazaar. Surprisingly, the bed on which he used to sleep was not burnt. His body was found at the gate of his clinic.
SHO, Karakat police station, Rajendra Prasad, said that the clinic caught fire due to short circuit and the doctor was burnt in his bid to extinguish the fire. Police sealed the clinic and formed a team to inquire into the incident.
