Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, seized 289 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a juice seller at a fruit- stall near Nawada police station, Ara, on August 20, 2018, late evening, and arrested the shopkeeper. Police are interrogating the shopkeeper to know about the kingpin of liquor smugglers. SHO, Nawada police station, Subodh Kumar, said that an FIR was odged under the Prohibition & Excise Act and the shopkeeper was sent to jail.
