Sasaram: Rohtas police, on a tip off, seized 2,500 pouches of countrymade liquor from a Maruti Car near the coal Depot on the national highway on November 5 evening though the carriers managed to escape. SHO, town police station, Sasaram, Sunil Kumar said that he got information that a big consignment of liquor from Jharkhand was being brought hence he laid a trap and found that a Maruti Car was parked on the NH unattended. He said that police seized the car and 2,500 pouches of countrymade liquor packed in half a dozen gunny bags.
