Ara: A team of officials comprising Jagdishpur SDO Bal Mukund, BDO Kamlesh Kumar, Block Supply Officer (BSO) Ram Bahadur Singh, on a tip off, conducted raid at a rice mill at village Bara-Kharauni under Shahpur block on Saturday and seized 115 bags of rice and 123 bags of wheat which was stored there for being sold in black market. The BSO said that a named FIR has been lodged with Bihia police station against the PACS president, Dumaria panchayat cum PDS dealer, Ravi Ranjan Verma, and PDS shop owners: Ganesh Prasad, Surendra Sah and Harendra Sah. But, no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
