Ara: Railway Protection Force (RPF) rescued three teenage boys from a train at Ara railway station on Saturday. All the three boys belong to Rohtas district and were identified as Chandan Kumar, son of Birendra Prasad, Sardar Prem Singh, son of Sardar Gurbachan Singh, and Munna Prasad, son of Vishwanath Prasad, of Punjabi-Koransarai locality under Sasaram Town Police Station. The parents of the boys and Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee, were informed about it.

RPF Inspector Ajay Shankar Patel said that the RPF personnel located three children sitting in a bogie of Sasaram-Patna passenger train at Ara railway station. When they were quizzed, the boys narrated their story to them. They said that all the three were friends and had gone to play outside their houses. On way, two sadhus inquired about the location of the railway station and asked them to take them there. When they came to the railway station, the sadhus gave them biscuits to eat. After eating biscuits, they fell unconscious. When they regained their sense, they found themselves on the train.

The RPF Inspector said that the rescued boys were handed over to their parents when they came to the RPF office on Saturday evening.He said the sadhus could not be arrested as they had disappeared from the scene.
