18 bootleggers nabbed in Bagaha, 95 bottles of IMFL, car seized

Bagaha: SP, Bagaha police distrit, A K Gupta, on February 28, 2018, said that 18 bootleggers with 95 bottles of IMFLand 54 litres of countrymade liquor were arrested under different  police station during last 24 hours during a special drive against liquor smugglers before Holi festival. Police sources said that 4 kg Nepali ganja besides 3 motorbikes and a four-wheeler carrying the contraband goods were also seized.

Meanwhile, SSB 21st Battalion, Bagaha, 5 buffaloes were also recovered from Piyaribhit under Naurangia police station when they were being taken to a cattle smuggler Sairajul Mian of village Sardari under Valmikinagar police station in Bagaha police district for smuggling on February 27, 2018, night. Sairajul was also arrested by the SSB jawans and handed over Naurangia police station for necessary action.
