Ara : At least 150 pregnant women were examined and given medicine and fruits free of cost at Sadar Hospital, Ara, on August 9, 2018. Dr Satish Kumar Sinha, Deputy Superintendent, Sadar Hospital, said that under the Prime Minister Surakshit Matritva Yojana, a free check up camp is organized on ninth of every month.
Dr Sinha said that all types of pathological tests of pregnant women are done and even X-ray and Ultrasound, if needed, free of cost and added that the doctors of the hospital also give fruits to them free cost. Dr Prateek, Dr Madhubala, Dr Sunita Rai were present on the occasion.
