Patna : Showing solidarity with NMCH counterparts, Junior Doctors of PMCH and DMCH have decided to boycott works for next 24 hours from August 9, 2018.
Junior Doctors Association (JDA) president Dr Vinay Kumar said that if an agreement is reached between hospital administration and officials of the health department, they might withdraw their agitation otherwise they would boycott work. Dr. Vinay Kumar said that several assurances have been given in the past regarding their safety on hospital premises but to no avail so far.
It may be recalled here that three days back, some attendants of a dead patient had heated exchange with junior doctors of NMCH as the doctors had refused to attend the patient saying he was already dead. After that junior doctors of NMCH had proceeded on strike.
