Buxar : Police recovered body of Durgesh Mishra, 15, son of Brigunath Mishra, from a drain at village Basudhar under Itadhi police station in Buxar district on August 29, 2018, and brought it over to Sadar Hospital, Buxar, for postmortem. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
Bhrigunath Mishra said that that Durgesh Mishra had gone to his maternal uncle at Bhakhawa but did not reach there. After searching for him everywhere, the family members went to Itadhi police station on August 28, 2018, to lodge an FIR regarding his disppearance but police did not lodged the FIR and on August 29 morning his body was found in a drain.
SHO, Itadhi police station, said that someone strangulated him to death and threw the body into the drain to evade arrest.
