Zonal IG seeks report from two SPs regarding attack on police team

Muzaffarpur : Zonal IG, Muzaffarpur, Sunil Kumar, has sought report from the SPs of both Muzaffarpur and Gopalganj districts regarding a murderous mob attack on a Gopalganj police team including two SHOs, which had gone to village Khenpur under Paroo police station, Muzaffarpur, to arrest one Ajay Yadav in connection with a liquor seizure case on January 10, 2016. Both the SHOs are undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, police under the leadership of Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar conducted raids at village Khenpur and other places and arrested 11 persons in connection with attack on Gopalganj police team on January 10. Teams of several police stations are conducting raids to arrest Ajay Yadav.
