Youth stabs girl at Ara

Ara: A miscreant stabbed and injured a girl student near Shivganj locality under Town police station on Tuesday evening when she refused to go with him. Later, the injured girl was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital.

SHO Town police station, Ara,  said that the girl was going to her coaching class.  On way, a youth Pramod Pathak, said to be her relative, came to her and forced her to accompany him to a hotel. When she refused, he tried to kidnap her at dagger point. When he did not succeed in his evil intention, he attacked her with a knife and injured her in a small lane in front of  N S Mall in Shivganj locality and escaped. An FIR has been lodged with the Town police station on the statement of the injured girl but the police are yet to arrest the accused.
