Ara : Some unidentified miscreants shot at two motorcycle borne youth near Kulharia High School on Patna – Ara main road under Koelwar police stationon in Bhojpur district and escaped on August 11, 2018. One of them succumbed to his injuries while the other was admitted to Primary Health Centre (PHC), Koelwar, where the doctor referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of his serious condition.
Later, police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Kundan Singh of Shivganj locality under Ara Town police station while the injured was identified as Chiku.
Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar said that Kundan Singh and Chiku were returning from Patna on their motorcycle and when they reached near Kulharia High School under Koelwar police station on the Patna-Ara main road, some unidentified miscreants shot dead Kundan Singh, son of Amarnath Singh, former District General Secretary, Congress, and injured Chiku.
The SP attributed the incident to gangwar and said police are conducting raids at all possible places to arrest the miscreants. He said that the miscreants had shot at and injured two other youth of Shivganj area two days ago when they were going to Patna on their motorcycle.They were admitted to PMCH.
