Youth shot dead during cultural programme at Bhojpur village

Ara : Some miscreants shot dead a 19 year old youth at village Banauli under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur District in the wee hours on February 3, 2020, during a cultural programme at the village over a trivial matter.

Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. A named FIR was lodged Narayanpur police station in this connection. Police are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The deceased was identified as Raja Kumar Sah, son of Girija Sah of Banauli village under Narayanpur police station.

SHO, Narayanpur police station, Nikunj Bhushan, said that Raja Sah had gone to see a cultural programmed organised at village Banauli on February 2, 2020, night, where he had a tiff with the named accused over the issue of sitting in the front row. At this, the named accused shot at Raja Sah killing him on the spot in the wee hour on February 3 and escaped from the place. The SHO said that police had identified the miscreants and added that they would be nabbed very soon.
