Patna : Novak Djokovic, 32, Serbia, returned to World No 1 position with 9,720 points in the ATP rankings released on February 3, 2010, relegating Rafael Nadal, 33, Spain to World N0 2 position with 9,395 points. Djokovic retained his Australian Open (AO) title defeating Dominic Thiem, 26, Austria, in the final on February 2, 2020, defending his 2,000 points while Nadal failed to defend his 1,200 points he had bagged in 2019 as the runner-up. Nadal lost in the QFs of AO in 2020. Roger Federer, 38, Switzerland, remains World No 3 with 7,130 points after reaching the SFs of AO 2020.

Dominic Thiem, Austria, has jumped one place to be ranked World No 4 with 7,045 points after reaching the final of AO 2020 securing 1,200 points. Daniil Medvedev, 23, Russia, has dropped one place to be ranked World No 5 with 5,960 points. Medvedev had lost to Stan Wawrinka, 34, Switzerland, in the 4th round of AO. Stefanos Tsitsipas, 21, Greece, is World No 6 with 4,745 points. Tsitsipas had lost in the 3rd round of AO 2020 to Milos Raonic, 29, Canada.

Alexander Zverev, 22, Germa, remains World No 7 with 3,885 points after reaching the SFs of AO 2020. Matteo Berrettini, 23, Italy, remains World No 8 with 2,905 points while Gael Monfils, 33, France, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 9 with 2,700 points after reaching the 4th round of AO. David Goffin, 29, Belgium, has also jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 10 with 2,555 points after reaching the 4th round of AO. Goffin had lost in the 3rd round of AO to Andrey Rublev, Russia. Fabio Fognini, 32, Italy, has also jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 11 with 2,400 points.

Roberto Bautista Agut, 31, Spain, has slipped 3 places to be ranked World N0 1w with 2,360 points. Agut had lost in the 3rd round of AO to Marin Cilic, Cfroatia. Stan Wawrinka, Switzerland, has jumped 2 places to be ranked World No 13 with 2,360 points after reaching the QFs of AO. Andrey Rublev, Russia, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 15 with 2,174 points. Nick Kyrgios, 24, Australia, has jumped 6 places to be ranked World No 20 with 1,690 points after reaching the 4th round of AO.

Sam Querrey, 32, USA, has jumped 5 places to be ranked World No 40 with 1,180 points after reaching 3rd round of AO while John Millman, 30, Australia, has jumped 6 places to be ranked World No 41 with 1,141 points after reaching 2nd round of AO.

Tennys Sandgren, 28, USA, has jumped 44 places to be ranked World No 56 with 923 points after reaching the QFs of AO 2020 losing to Federer. Lucas Pouille, 25, France, has slipped 36 places to be ranked World No 62 with 880 points. Tommy Paul, USA, has jumped 10 places to be ranked World No 70 with 778 points after reaching the 3rd round of AO. Frances Tiafoe, 22 USA, has slipped   29 places to be ranked World No 79 with 700 points.

India No 1 Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 30, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 122 with 433 points while Sumit Nagal, 22, India, has jumped 6 places to be ranked World No 125 with 416 points. Ramkumar Ramnathan, 24, Idia, has jumped 2 places to be ranked World No 182 with 280 points. Sasi Kumar Mukund, 23, India, has jumped 3 places to be ranked World No 263 with 168 points. Saketh Myneni, 32, India, has jumped 9 places to be ranked World No 406 with 81 points.
