Buxar : Neelmani Yadav, 19, son of Triveni Yadav of village Lehari Dera under Chausa police station in Buxar district was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle on Chausa -Ramgarh main road on April 27, 2018, when he was returning to his village on his bicycle after buying milk from a dairy farm.
After the incident, irate villagers blocked the Chausa -Ramgarh main road with the body for about three hours raising slogans against the district administration. They were demanding compensation to the next of kin of the and arrest of the vehicle driver. Later, SHO, Chausa police station, and Block Development Officer, Chausa, Arvind Kumar Singh, reached the spot and pacified the villagers assuring them that the vehicle driver would be arrested at the earliest. The BDO also gave a cheque of Rs 20,000 to the family members of the deceased.
