Youth commits suicide after stabbing a friend in Rohtas

Karakat ( Rohtas): A differently abled stabbed and injured his friend at village Basopur  under Kargahar police station in  Rohtas district in the wee hour on Thursday. Later, he himself committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house. The police admitted the injured to Kargahar primary health centre (PHC) where the doctor  referred him to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital. But, the family members took him to a private clinic for treatment instead. The police also brought the body to  Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR was lodged with Kargahar police station on the statement of Rajwansh Paswan, father of the deceased, in this regard.

SHO, Kargahar police station, Vinod Kumar said Gaya Paswan, a physically challenged youth and his friend Munnu Paswan were sleeping in a field on Wednesday. In the wee hour on Thursday, Gaya Paswan stabbed Munnu Paswan,  injured him and escaped from the scene. Hearing the scream, the villagers brought Munnu to PHC. In the morning when the door of the room of Gaya Paswan did not open, the villagers broke open it and found  Gaya Paswan hanging from  the ceiling. They informed the police and the police seized the body.
