Youth arrested in Bhojpur for raping girl making her pregnant

Ara : Police arrested a youth Shailendra Kumar, son of Lal Bahadur Chaudhary of village Saripur  under Piro police station in Bhojpur district on August 28, 2017, for allegedly outraging a modesty of a girl for eight months making her pregnant.

Later, police forwarded him to jail. A named FIR had been lodged with Piro police station on the statement of the girl. The police brought her to the Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and produced her before the court to get her statement recorded under section 164 Cr PC on August 28Monday.

SHO, Piro police station, Arvind Kumar, said that a teenage girl used to cut grass daily on the outskirts of Jaisidih-Saripur under Piro police station daily. She came in contact with Shailendra Kumar, who lured her promising to marry her. Believing his false promises, she surrendered before Shailendra Kumar who was outraging her modesty for the last eight month. The matter came to light when the girl fell ill and was brought to the doctor for treatment. The doctor diagnosed that she was  three month pregnant.
