Ara : A woman and her two minor children allegedly died in an incident of fire at Ram Lagan Lal Ke Tola of Amrai Nawada village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on April 10, 2017. The deceased were identified as Soni Devi, 25, wife of Heera Lal Gond alias Udhari Gond, her two minor children: Ashish Kumar, 4, and Sunny Kumar, 2. Police brought the bodies to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO, Bihia police station, said that when Heera Lal Gond and others had gone to work on April 10 morning, his house caught fire. The villagers tried to extinguish the fire but could not save three persons in the house who had sustained serious burn injuries and succumbed to their injuries. The in-laws of Soni Devi said that it was an incident while her father and brother said that they were killed. Sensing the gravity of the situation, the hospital management formed a medical team for the post-mortem of the body.
