Sasaram : Some armed miscreants shot at and injured a woman at village Saraiya under Dinara police station in Rohtas district on May 16, 2017, evening. She was admitted to Sasaram Sadar Hospital but the doctors there referred her to Varanasi due to her critical condition.
An FIR was lodged with Dinara police station against six named persons including three women and also against two unknown persons but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. SHO, Dinara police station, Satyendra Kumar Satyarthi, said that some armed miscreants shot at and injured Veena Kuer, 40, at Saraiya when she was feeding her buffalo. The SHO also said that her husband Jyoti Lal was killed in 2010 and Veena Kuer was complainant in the case but later she was found involved in his murder and was sent to jail.
