Dehri-on – Sone ( Rohtas): A widow Prabha Kuer, who was assaulted by some miscreants four days back for allegedly practicing witchcraft, succumbed to her injuries at Dehri primary health centre in Rohtas district during treatment on Saturday morning. SHO, Dehri police station, Birendra Prasad Yadav, said that some miscreants entered the house of Prabha Kuer at village Patkholia under Dehri polic station four days ago when she was sleeping in the late night. They dragged her out and thrashed her for allegedly practicing witchcraft. The injured was admitted to the PHC where she succumbed to her injuries on Saturday morning. The police sent the body to Sasaram sadar hospital for post-mortem. The SHO said police were trying to nab the miscreants. An FIR has been lodged with Dehri police station in this regard.
