Sasaram : A woman was killed while three other persons including a minor girl were injured when an autorickshaw overturned on Old G T Road near village Basa under Sasasram Muffasil police station in Rohtas district on December 14, 2019, late evening.
Police brought the body over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured at a private clinic. The deceased was identified as Kusum Devi, wife of Lalan Sah of village Basa. The driver of the autorickshaw escaped from the spot after the accident leaving the vehicle behind. Police seized the autorickshaw.
SHO, Sasaram Muffasil police station, Rakesh Kumar, said that an autorickshaw from Karaundia was going to Sasaram. Kusun Devi boarded the autorickshaw at village Basa. The driver suddenly lost control over the steering about 100 meter away from village Basa and the three-wheeler overturned killing Kusum Devi on the spot.
