Woman commits suicide by setting herself ablaze at Bhojpur village

Ara : Nitu Kumari, 20, set herself ablaze after sprinkling Kerosene Oil on body at village Dulaur – Bajpedwa under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district on June 24, 2017, morning. She was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital but she succumbed to her injuries on June 25 morning during treatment. Her in-laws claimed sustained burn injuries while cooking food and carried the body with them without autopsy.

Nitu Kumari, daughter of Dasai Yadav of village Ratnadh under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district was married to Kisan Yadav, a driver of village Dulaur-Bajpedwa under Jagdishpur police station a year back. On June 24, she had a tiff with her husband over some petty issue after which  she locked her into a room and after sprinkling kerosene oil on her body set herself ablaze. On the other hand, her in-laws claimed said that she was cooking food for the family but some kerosene oil fell on her and she caught fire and sustained burn injuries No FIR has so far been lodged in this regard.
