Sitamarhi: Police arrested a woman liquor smuggler Rina Devi with 70 bottles of Nepali liquor from village Jirat Tola under Nanpur police station in Sitamarhi district on November 12, 2017, night. A team of Nanpur police station under the leadership of SHO Pramod Kumar seized 70 bottles of Nepali liquor, a motorbike and arrested a lady smuggler Rina Devi from village Jirat Tola.
Rina Devi’s husband, allegedly also a liquor smuggler, managed to escpae taking advantage of darkness. According to police sources, the husband-wife duo was on police radar for quite some time. Police are also looking for their other accomplices.
