Bagaha: A woman was arrested with 4 kg of contraband Charas worth about Rs 40 lakh in international market on Saturday at Bagaha railway station from Raxaul-New Delhi bound Satyagraha express train (15273UP) by a team of SSB Jawans of 21st Battalion, Bagaha, in West Champaran district.
Sources said the woman smuggler Hadisha Khatoon, wife of Hanif Mian, hails from village Sikta under Sikta police station in West Champaran. SSB deputy commandant of 21st Battalion R K Raman said that the woman with contraband Charas was handed over to the Government Railway police (GRP), Narakatiaganj, the same day for necessary action.
