Buxar : Manju Mishra, wife of Additional District and Sessions Judge I, Buxar, Rajesh Mishra, was threatened with dire consequences on September 2Friday by an unidentified person after she refused to share information regarding her bank account with him. An FIR has been lodged with Buxar Town police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
SHO, Buxar Town police station, said that an unknown person called Manju Mishra, wife of ADJ I, Buxar, Rajesh Mishra, and asked for information regarding her bank account and ATM. When she refused to share anything with him, the caller lost temper and used filthy language against her and also threatened her with dire consequences.
Earlier, a criminal had fraudulently drawn thousands of rupees from the account of the father of a former Judicial Magistrate, Buxar Civil Court, Kalpana Srivastava, and an FIR was lodged with Buxar Town police station but police have failed to arrest the miscreants even after a year.
Sources said the miscreants are calling bank account holders and after getting their bank details, draw cash from their accounts but the police have remained inactive so far.
