Bagaha : A widow of Narainapur Ward No 3 under Pathakauli Police Outpost in Bagaha police district on October 16, 2018, lodged a case with police against Ramesh Kushwaha of village Katakueeya under Semara police station charging him with taking Rs 1 lakh cash from her to purchase homestead land for her promising to marry her but broke the relationship soon after.
The widow alleged Ramesh Kushwaha had developed physical relation with her for the past few months promising he would marry her and had taken Rs 1 lakh from her for purchasing homestead land for her. She had collected the money by running a hotel on Kutcherry premises. But, her paramour bungled her entire amount and snapped his relationship with her and was now living with another woman at Koharpatti, the widow alleged. When she reached there to seek return of her money, Ramesh Kushwaha brutally assaulted her and refused the return the money, the widow alleged.
Incharge, Pathakauli Police Outpost, Rajesh Kumar has said that police were searching for the accused.
