Widow lodges FIR against family members for bthrashing her

Ara : A widow lodged a named FIR with  Sinha Police Outpost in Bhojpur district on January 29, 2019, against four persons : her elder brother-in-law (jyesth), sister-in-law (gotani), nephew, and niece for thrashing allegedly for practicing witchcraft. Police are, however, yet to arrest any accused in this connection.

SHO, Sinha Police Outpost, said that a child had died in the family of the widow a few days ago at village Farhada under Sinha Police Outpost and the family members accused the widow with killing the child by using witchcraft. On January 29, 2019, the family members thrashed and injured the widow holding her responsible for the death of the child. The widow was admitted to  Sadar Hospital, Ara.
