Ara : District Education Officer (DEO), Bhojpur, has suspended all the teachers including the Headmaster of an Upgraded High School at village Bagar under Tarari block with immediate effect for bringing down the national flag soon after it was unfurled on Republic Day. The DEO has suspended all the teachers of the school for showing disrespect to the national flag.
The Headmaster of Upgraded High School, Bagar under Tarari block in Bhojpur district, hoisted the national flag on January 26, 2019, but soon after unfurling the flag, it was brought down and all the teachers of the school went away to attend a banquet. Seeing it, the villagers got angry and strongly protested the conduct of the school teachers. The DEO rushed to the school and allegedly tried to hush up the matter but he had to take action against the teachers under mounting pressure of the villagers.
