Patna : West Indies (WI) were 94/2 after 25 overs in 3rd ODI against India at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, Odisha, on December 22, 2019, with Roston Chase unbeaten on 19 and Shimron Hetmyer batting on 11. India won the toss but opted to bowl.

Opener Evin Lewis fell to spinner Ravindra Jadeja for 21 in 50 balls with 3 fours making it 57/1. Captain Virat Kohli brought in Mohammad Shami in place of Kuldeep Yadav. And, opener Shai Hope immediately fell to Shami for 42 in 50 balls with 5 fours and it 70/2. For Shami it was a wicket maiden.
