Patna : Asked to follow on, West Indies (WI) were reeling at 244/6 in 65.4 overs at stumps on Day 3 in their second innings in 2nd test against New Zealand (NZ) at Basin Reserve, Wellington, NZ, on December 13, 2020, as fast bowler Trent Boult took 3/75 and fast medium bowler Kyle Jamieson took 2/43 while Neil Wagner took 1/53. WI trail by 85 runs.

Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 124/8, WI were all out for 131 in their 1st innings with Tim Southee taking 5/32 and Kyle Jamieson taking 5/34. NZ had scored 460 in their 1st innings.

At stumps on Day 3, fast bowler Jason Holder ( Captain) was unbeaten on 60 in 89 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes while Joshua Da Silva (wk) was batting on 25 in 39 balls with 2 fours. Holder and Da Silva have added 74 runs in their unbroken partnership for the 7th wicket.

Openers Kraigg Barthwaite and John Campbell scored 24 and 68 runs respectively. Kraigg fell to Boult while Campbell fell to Jamieson. Darren Bravo fell to Boult for 4. Shamarh Brooks fell to fast medium bowler Wagner for 36 in 72 balls with 4 fours and 1 six. Roston Chase fell to Jamieson for zero. Jermaine Blackwood, who had scored 69 in 1st innings, fell to Boult for 20.
