New Delhi : A total of 33,136 Covid-19 patients were declared cured /discharged in India during last 24 hours taking the tally to 93,57,464 at 8 am on December 13, 2020, exceeding the number of active cases (3,56,546) by a huge margin of 90,00,918. The country, on the other hand, also recorded 30,254 new Covid-19 cases taking the tally to 98,57,029 on December 13, 2020. The number of active cases was 3.62% of the total cases on December 13.

Of the 98,57,029 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in India, a total of 93,57,464 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 94.93%. India has tested 15,37,11,833 samples so far including 10,14,434 samples on December 12, 2020.

The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,43,019 in India on December 13, 2020, with 391 new deaths being recorded in the country during last 24 hours including 80 from Maharashtra, 47 from Delhi, 44 from West Bengal, 32 from Kerala, 31 from Uttar Pradesh, 21 from Punjab, 16 from Chhattisgarh, 14 from Rajasthan, 13 from Tamilnadu, 12 from Gujarat, 11 from Haryana, 11 from Karnataka, 10 from Uttarakhand, 10 from Himachal Pradesh, 9 from Madhya Pradesh, 5 from Bihar, and 3 from Andhra Pradesh. The Case Fatality Rate was 1.45% in the country on December 13, 2020. India had recorded 442 new deaths on December 12, 2020.
