West Champaran police arrest 7 criminals with firearms

Bettiah : A West Champaran police team comprising SHO, Bettiah Town Police Station, Nityanand Chauhan, and SHO, Chanpatia police station, Rajesh Jha, and other cops on September 1, 2018, night, conducted raids and different places including Bararamana in the district and arrested 7 criminals and seized 4 countrymade guns, a DBBL gun, and live cartridges from their possessions. West Champaran SP Jayant Kant had formed the team on September 1 night itself on secret information.

According to West Champaran SP, the arresred criminals included Vikash Kumar, Bhola Yadav, Prabhat Kumar,  Aayush Kumar, Kundan Pandey, Avinash Kumar, residents of different places in Bagaha police district and West Champaran district. SP Jayant Kant said that arrested criminals were wanted in East Champaran and West Champaran district and Bagaha police district in connection with bike lifting and other criminal cases. The SP said that the criminals have made a WhatsApp group in the name of ‘Mahakal’  to terrorise the people.
