Patna : Resuming at their overnight score of 260/8, England were soon all out for 271 in 96.1 over in their second innings on the fourth day of the 4th test against India at The Rose Bowl, Southampton, UK, on September 2, 2018. Fast bowler Sam Curran was run out for 46 with 6 fours. England, who had made 246 in their first innings, lead by 244 runs. India had made 273 runs in their first innings,

For India, fast bowler Mohammad Shami took 4/57 while Ishant Sharma took 2/36. Jasprit Bumrah and spinner Ravichandra Ashwin took one wicket each. England Captain Joe Root and bowler Sam Curram were run out.
