Ara: Prof Dhyanendra Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Science, Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, participated at a day long symposium on ‘Chemical Biology’ at Newyork, USA, recently. It was organized by the Newyork Academy of Sciences, one of the oldest academy of the world since 1817. Prof Kumar is also a member of the academy.
In an interaction with the Indian scholars at World Trade Centre, Prof Kumar broadly discussed the option to go to academics or industries after completing their studies. He also participated in the interactive session with the American Association Advancement of Science on the herbal cure of diabetes at a fellowship programme. He also addressed a seminar on “Neurobiology and Behaviour” in the faculty of medical science at Columbia University on May 26, 2016, said Prof Kumar on his return from Newyork on Sunday.
